2009 Bloomin' Fest SPJST Car Show

The Car Shop owners, employees. friends and clients participated in the 2009 Annual SPJST Car Show at Temple's Bloomin' Fest.
Ten cars were entered in 7 different Classes. Among the car classes entered 4 Race class/specialty cars, 1 F-body, 1 Camaro, 1 Corvette, 1 Jr. Dragster, 1 Mopar, 1 Mustang. Unfortunately, we were short two entries due to the weather conditions. The good news is that every car we took received a trophy. We also received a club participation award for the most entries.
Entered in the Race Class were:
1974 Chevy Luv which is owned and built by Neil Elliott here at The Car Shop. Click the Link to see the Luv Truck in Action! Neil brought in a 3rd place trophy which is great considering he was picking off paint everytime he walked by it.
1968 GMC Race Truck, owed by Keith White. Click the Link to see this Truck in Action!Keith got a 2nd place trophy. (with help from Lisa!)
1998 Pro Chassis Dwarf Car, owned by Billy White. Billy got a 1st place! He wasn'tthere but Trace took GOOD care of the car!
Entered in the Camaro Class was:
1981 Camaro, owned by Jared Bouchie. To see this car as the modifications progress, click the link.Jared pulledin a 4th place.
Entered in the Corvette Class was:
2002 Chevy Corvette Z06, owned by Mike Creech. To see this car as the modifications progressed and the finished product, Click the link. Mike got a 1st place!
Entered in the Jr. Dragster Class was:
1995 Halfscale Jr. Dragster, owned Zach Elliott and shared with Jarrett Charnock
Entered in the Mopar Class was:
1967 Plymouth Barracuda, owned by Billy Bachmeyer. Well actually it belongs to Jessica. It won a 1st place and this was the first time they had seen it since we finished it.
Entered in the Mustang Class was:
1993 Ford Mustang Cobra, owned by John Gordey. This one brought home a 3rd place as well!
